Ebony's Story
Ebony was with the same family since she was a pup, but after the family’s senior pup and head of the pack passed away, Ebony’s mom recognized a disturbing shift in the pack dynamics that was leading to unexpected bursts of in-fighting among the remaining pups. The family’s toy poodle would occasionally instigate squabbles that were turning more serious due to the obvious size differences between a toy poodle and a labrador retriever. Due to the unpredictability of the battles, coupled with the growing intensity and health conditions mom is facing, the incredibly difficult decision was made to have Ebony Rose seek out a more peaceful arrangement for all involved. We are determined to find this lovely little lady the home she deserves.
Don't let her slightly more advanced age, this girl has more spring in her step than dogs half her age! Her favorite things are walks, chewing bones, playing fetch with her squeaky pig, and—most importantly—spending time with her people!
